At Tinsel Twist, we love a creative challenge, especially when it gives us a chance to explore something completely new. Our most recent custom request was a Rumi-inspired look based on the fierce and already iconic main character from K-Pop Demon Hunters.
This creation features a dragon braid hairstyle with synthetic hair worked in for length, color and fullness. We have paired it with colored hair wax and festival hair glitter for an all over and seamless color. We finished the look with silver hair cuffs that are appropriate for our favorite Huntrix member.
The demon patterns that Rumi is known for where created using cosmetic grade glitter tattoos, under painted with highly pigmented face paint, for a multidimensional shine. While this style is still a work in progress, it’s one of our favorite examples of how a little imagination (and a lot of sparkle) can bring a character to life.
